Anniversary gift ideas for men
An anniversary gift that is linked to a man's hobbies can be a good idea and fortunately most men have at least one hobby. Some men like fishing, hunting or something similar connected with the great outdoors. Others may like less physical activities like photography, music or art. It doesn't really matter too much as long as it is a subject that is important to him. |

When buying such a gift:
Don't buy some technical
equipment unless you are sure it is exactly what he wants.
(Most people with a hobby are very
particular and knowledgeable so you could buy the "wrong" item.)
Can you include yourself in the gift by being creative in your thinking?
(For example, by travelling together to a place associated with his
hobby.)
For other men it could be their sporting interests that provide a great idea for a gift. But as with hobbies make sure that you don't buy something technical that could be the wrong brand etc. If you want to show an interest in his sport then maybe you could get tickets for "the big game" and go together. |
Some of you will be saying to yourselves that he doesn't like sport and doesn't have a hobby. In which case you may have to look for inspiration from what he watches on television. What does he like to watch? Comedies? Documentaries? History? Travel? Music? Food? What ever it is, look for a way to incorporate his likes with a gift. |

If he likes comedy the simplest gift could be a DVD of his favorite show. Or, you could book a visit to a comedy club. Or, you could even arrange for tickets to be in the audience when they are making a tv show.
If he likes music is there a suitable, local concert that you could book tickets for?
It can be great if you can arrange for him to be able to something that he has always wanted to do but for some reason has never done. It could be because of the cost or due to the problems arranging it. Typically this could be visiting a special place but it could also be doing something like driving a fast car on a track, flying a plane, being a cowboy for a week. It doesn't really matter but you can be assured that if you arrange something special for him he will not forget it. |

Have you heard him talking about
something which he would like but which he knows is
expensive and he cannot justify himself. if so, is it
something which you could buy him as a gift. But before you
go ahead ask yourself the following: Why do you want to buy it? Is it because you really want him to buy you something expensive in return? Will it put you into debt and added financial pressure? Remember, a gift can still show your love without costing a fortune. |
